When she first discovered aerial acrobatics, Summer was an aimless college student with an unclear future. Within two years she went from passionate novice to a highly sought after performer and instructor. She began balancing a design career at Marvel with teaching and performing gigs across the country. Her coworkers were amazed, along with millions of television viewers, when she reached the top 100 on “America’s Got Talent.” Host Howie Mandel described her act as "both dangerous and very original."
In 2015, with a decade of experience, hundreds of shows, multiple television appearances and dozens of students of all skill levels on her resume, Summer shifted careers into full time teaching and performing. Her specialties include Aerial Chains, Aerial Hoop, Silks and she's also one-third of "La Cage Trio", a one-of-a-kind aerial cage troupe act. Summer has been seen in flight at The Economist Magazine's World in 2013 Gala, has performed with Constellation Moving Company and Dzul Dance Company, as well as appearing in the off-Broadway show "La Soiree". Summer has been accepted into Cirque Du Soliel's prestigious Casting Database and is a resident instructor at Circus Warehouse and Body & Pole in NYC, where she works alongside the industry’s best, teaching aerial arts to future circus stars!
